St. Michael’s is a non-selective school and takes pupils with a range of abilities. Academic success centres around outstanding teaching, excellent resources, small classes and the reinforcement of core skills at an early age.
At St. Michael’s we strive to deliver a broad curriculum in order to provide intellectual, moral, creative, emotional, cultural, technical and physical education of the highest quality. We seek to instil a love of learning in all our pupils, and we endeavour to offer them the fullest opportunity to stretch the boundaries of their individual ability.
The rich and varied curriculum is stimulating and suitably demanding but flexible enough to suit the ability of each pupil.
The great majority of our pupils will go onto outstanding Senior Schools and a good number will enter their senior schools having taken their scholarship examinations.
