2015 Jersey Arts and Crafts Eisteddfod

The Primary board represented a colourful array of work from Reception (PPA) up to Form 4 (Year 6).  On 3D table, Year 6 made a collection of brightly decorated ceramic shoes.

In the Seniors, the standard of Form 6 (Year 8) paintings were exceptionally high this year and our young artists were justly rewarded.   In the 3D category, Year 8 entered a collection of ceramic boats described as a technically impressive and charming project.  The judge was particularly taken by individual characterisation of the boats which ultimately distinguished between the awarded grades.  We are delighted that one of our Year 8 pupils won the 'Sue Chinn Award' for the best piece of work in Year 7, 8 and 9.
We are thrilled for all of the St.Michael’s students represented, from Reception (PPA) to Year 8; just to have their work selected for this show is an achievement to be proud of.
Combined awards:
 Platinum - 5
Gold      - 6
