Form 2 Anglo-Saxon Feast 2015

Form 2 concluded their work on the Anglo-Saxons with a feast in “The Great Hall”!  The darkened room, with a crackling fire and shields around the walls, created a good atmosphere.  Pupils drank “mead” from the clay goblets they had made and enjoyed chicken, bread and apples.  Riddles and jugglers, some excellent musicians and a brief telling of the story of Beowulf entertained everyone.  All agreed it was a very worthwhile afternoon.
